How We Supply

Being mindful of the increased concern of waste materials to landfill sites we now operate two recycling centres to process aggregates/builders waste/sub soil/green garden wastes etc. This maximises the recycling potential of the Skip, tipper and grab waste.

We can supply a range of primary and recycled aggregates.

We have invested in Crushing and Screener machines which play an integral part in the efficient processing of the waste brought to the facilities to be recycled.

We have approval from both Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire Councils for our recycled materials.

Aggregates

Sharp Sand

Used for paving, screeding and concreting mainly. 0-4mm in size and angular meaning it is good drainage material.

Building Sand

Used for rendering and in mortars. 0-2mm in size making it smooth and easy to work with.

MOT Type 1

Used for any hard standing where there will be a lot of traffic, widely used. 0-63mm, usually limestone or granite and varying in colour.

10mm Gravel

Used for pipe bedding as well as in domestic and commercial projects. Screened with no fines, rounded/angular and varying in colour.

20mm Gravel

Used for pipe bedding as well as in domestic and commercial projects, especially as driveway gravel. Screened with no fines, rounded/angular and varying in colour.

20mm All in Ballast

Used for concreting on a large scale and domestically. 0-20mm and varying in colour.

Recycled 6F5

Used as a sub base or for roadways, can also be used for piling mats or backfill. 0-75mm in size and a blend of all crushed hardcore from brickbats to concrete and tiles.

Recycled Screened Topsoil

Used commercially or domestically for any topsoil jobs. 0-10mm in size and screened from various sources.

Recycled Class 1A Fill Sand

Used as a trench/backfill product, ideal for utility use. 0-10mm in size and screened from concrete waste producing concrete grit.

Recycled Type 1 Cl803 (Frost Heave)

Used as a more cost-effective alternative to MOT Type 1, ideal for large project or smaller private jobs. 0-50mm in size and produced by screening and crushing concrete blocks.

Recycled Cambs Spec Subbase (Highways Approved)

Used as a more cost-effective sub base than others, ideal for going under roadways, footpaths and compounds. 0-63mm in size and produced from crushing and screening tarmac and concrete in a blend.

Recycled Tarmac Planings

Used for roadways and as a sub base, also used for farm tracks and filling potholes. These come screened or unscreened so vary in size.

Recycled Clean Oversize

Used as a more cost-effective alternative to a drainage stone but can also be used as a hardstanding. 40-70mm in size, crushed and screened concrete with no fines.
